Hello DadBodFit family. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! I don’t know bout y’all, but im sick of turkey once again. I think we’re gonna do Mexican food or Bar B Que for Christmas. So anyway let’s get to it. PANCAKES!! Yeah you heard me. Who doesn’t love pancakes. Well I’m gonna give you a healthy recipe for some simple protein pancakes. I made these today and as always. I love em! So I had burned a ton of calories a couple days ago watching the OU West Virginia football game. Sheesh! Figured I deserved a treat for breakfast. So here ya go!!
3 whole eggs
1 cup dry oatmeal
1/3 cup of milk
1/3 cup of water
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
Add all the ingredients into a large cup and blend well. I use an immersion blender. Pre heat griddle or pan on about medium high. It’s ready when you flick water on it and the drops dance around. I don’t spray oil on mine but that’s personal preference. I like my cakes about 4-5 inches wide so pour batter accordingly. When the edges of the cakes look dry and the bubbles are almost gone flip it! Once that side is done Viola!!! Pancakes. I use sugar free syrup and there you have it. I eat a few eggs and some turkey(yes turkey) sausage with it. Now you gotta understand. If you ate quadruple stacked whipped cream, and peach pancakes from IHOP the day before you might be disappointed but if you eat pretty clean these are gonna taste like a dream!! Let me know what ya think. Stay tuned. In a few days I’ll have another post and Red River Rivalry II prediction. Until next time……..
